Homegroups
There are several homegroups operating within the church, with meetings held in both the afternoon and the evening. It is an opportunity for groups of people within the church family to meet together to read and study the bible. All the groups are led by members of the congregation and are an opportunity to have fellowship on a smaller scale, the groups tend to be very supportive and spend time talking and praying together. If you would like to know more please contact the church office, via our contact form, who will be able to put you in contact with a member of a particular group.

Prayer Breakfast
We meet for prayer breakfast on the fourth Sunday of every month (except December) starting at about 8.45am, between the two morning services. It is an opportunity to share fellowship, eat a hearty breakfast and spend some time praying together for the parish and the world. Our regular attendees range from 7 years old (favourite bit of breakfast is chocolate cereal) to over 90 (who enjoys bacon butties and mushrooms).
Everybody is welcome and there is no need to sign up. We do not charge but donations are welcome.
Lent Group
During the season of Lent we run a study group on Thursday evenings which has been on zoom since the pandemic. We usually follow a Lent themed book and the session is led by members of the Ministry Team, with interaction from attendees. The session lasts about an hour, and is an opportunity for a short time of reflection. Lent Group will be advertised on Pews News nearer the time.
Advent Group
During the busy season of Advent prior to Christmas we sometimes run a weekly online session on a Thursday evening, which gives us the opportunity to focus on our preparation for the birth of Christ. We come together on Zoom for about an hour and this is led by a member of the Ministry Team, sometimes we follow a study course to guide our thoughts, and sometimes we use resources created specifically for Advent. The Advent Group will be advertised on Pews News nearer the time.

Refreshments after 10am service
Refreshments are served after the 10am Sunday service every week in the Church Centre. It gives us a chance to meet and talk socially, and catch up with what our young people have been doing in Sunday Club during the service. We run a rota of volunteers to serve the refreshments and this includes guidance on how to use the coffee percolator. There are always chocolate biscuits!
Men’s Group
The men in our congregation have the opportunity to meet occasionally to enjoy fellowhip (this usually involves the pub and sometimes includes a walk!). They have also been clay pigeon shooting, shared an Indian meal, and had a marvellous wine tasting evening led by one of our church members.
Details are published on our social media and in the Pews News, and we do ask people to sign up for these events.
